The engaging Arcane Legions platform uses an intuitive and flexible formation-base system to command hordes of troops, allowing players to arrange and rearrange figures within a unit to change that unit’s capabilities. Movement and combat is fast and deadly, using an abstracted movement system and a simple dice-off combat mechanic, eliminating the need for cumbersome tape measurements and record-keeping.
With access to three distinct factions- the Roman Empire, the Egyptian Imperium, and the Han Dynasty, each with its own unique and devastating abilities- players will be able to find the right army to fit their play styles. Or mix and match factions for even more fun!
With the formation base system, players are able to easily control their massive armies in discrete units. By placing figures into specific, modifiable formations, the player is able to specialize his or her unit’s combat capabilities for any variety of tactical situations, from all-out berserker attacks, hit-and-run ranged assaults, and even hunkered-down siege defenses!
For example, organizing a unit’s figures into a marching formation grants the unit increased speed but reduces its offensive and defensive effectiveness. Reorganizing to an attack formation decreases the unit’s speed but dramatically increases its offensive punch. The possibilities are limitless!
Are you ready for a tableful of fantastical miniature soldiers- Roman bear-riders, Egyptian zombies and golems, and even Han Chinese Dragons- all involved in epic combat for two to six players, completed in less than two hours? Get ready for your next favorite game!

Player-Created Units
In an industry first, Arcane Legions allows players to design their own tournament-legal game elements. Using an online system, players can create custom units by selecting figures and designing their own unit card, all while calculating the unit’s point total in real time.
Player-created unit cards are stored in an online database under a unique serial number and can be printed out and used in all Arcane Legions games. To avoid cheating, any player can enter a unit card’s serial number into the Arcane Legions database from any Web browser (including iPhones) to confirm the card’s authenticity and creator.
