Among the famed kör Tiger Riders, none are as famed as Warlord Khudu. Chosen by Modu Shanyu to serve as his most trusted field marshal, he is one of the most valiant kör of the Xiongnu tribes. Khudu is a proud leader and impressive warrior, going into battle astride his tiger mount, itself a noble among its kind. Khudu underwent a particularly arduous spirit quest to find his mount, commonly acknowledged to be the most powerful and intelligent tiger in the steppes. He often regales his comrades with epic tales of the battle of wits and strength that the two endured before, exhausted and bleeding from dozens of wounds, they reconciled and agreed to bond as battle brothers.

Warlord Khudu and his tiger make a virtually unstoppable team, bowling over the enemy like a windstorm and whirling about in a deadly dance of fang, claw and blade. The massive sword that Khudu carries is his most cherished position, alleged to have belonged to a rival warlord that made a vague personal slight about Khudu’s tiger. The tiger riders of the Xiongnu ride alongside Warlord Khudu with immense pride—and a healthy dose of fear and respect, knowing that his temper could flare up at any moment for almost any reason. Shanyu watches Khudu’s exploits with admiration, but also a wary eye, knowing that Khudu’s ambition could rise to untenable levels. Shanyu knows that deploying Warlord Khudu on the most dangerous (and glorious) tasks is the only way to keep him in check.
