Arcane Legions

The Egyptian Imperium makes extensive use of mundane and supernatural creatures in their armies. Cleopatra employs hundreds of beast handlers to see to the care and feeding of this menagerie. They also enter into battle alongside their beasts, goading them into the fray with whips and stern commands. Beast handlers begin their training in childhood and form tight bonds with the animals they control. The beasts in turn become fiercely loyal and protective of their handlers, making them more predictable and effective in combat. Beast handlers go into battle wearing little to no armor and carry only whips, relying on their charges to keep them safe from harm.
