These unholy abominations came from Marc Anthony’s interest in dvergar magic as it combined the arts of warfare. At first, Cleopatra considered his pursuits frivolous and a waste of the Imperium’s coin, but after seeing his plans for this terror, she has wholeheartedly embraced the concept as he laid it out, authorizing him to commission a large number of these monstrosities to use as shock troops.

Undead golems, or necrotic warriors, are inspired by the work done by dvergar artisans, but blended with the unholy arts of the Imperium’s necromancers. Necrotic warriors are made by augmenting corpses with grafts of additional bone and sinew to make them taller, stronger and more resilient to damage. The addition of steel plates sewn into the corpse at vital areas do little to protect the golem, but gives it an aesthetic appeal and bolsters the necromantic magic that powers the construct. The necrotic warrior possesses massive steel claws meshed into its bone and muscle, lending to its already horrific visage and making it capable of raking enemies to ribbons. When unleashed against the enemy, necrotic warriors move with single-minded purpose, attacking without fear and oblivious to any damage they sustain in the conflict. Few mortal opponents stand for long when facing these unnatural constructs.
